Love Like You (Piano Arr.)

I arranged Rebecca Sugar's "Love Like You" for piano, and this is my best attempt at recording it(the 7th time's the charm, I hear). I get nervous when I think about someone else hearing me play, so this was hard. I had to cut out the intro and outro because those parts were not listenable in my opinion, and ultimately not necessary. Hope it's enjoyable despite the anxious performance and crappy audio quality.

That's a real sweet song and you played it very well. You mentioned the outro, and you eliminated it? You could have played the last three chords in different higher inversions instead. That would have been enough to signal an ending, you know? I would love to hear more of SONGS here at YC, so thanks for sharing this.

Ken's comments were spot on. :) I think a couple times the iiim7 chords were a little more cluttered than in the original recording too, but it's very pleasant.

Thanks @Ken320! I think I could give it another go and include the entire thing. I might spice things up a bit if I can think of how exactly to do so. I was dissatisfied with my left hand playing when I got to the middle part because I wanted to ditch the waltzy stuff and do something more dramatic. I defaulted to octaves because I have a hard time focusing on both hands at once unless one is doing something really basic. Neither hand is very agile, but lately I've managed to work myself out of the cloudy funk I was in and started practicing regularly again. Steadily, I'm getting better and more confident so we'll soon see what I can do.

@Monarcheon I suppose that was inevitable. I was "eyeballing it" with the chords so to speak and I still can't help but wonder if there aren't several places where I didn't quite get it right. In any case I'm glad it was pleasant to both of you. I see a few more Steven Universe themed piano arrangements in my future.
