April 1, 20179 yr This is a string quartet arrangement of a French chanson about a romance gone wrong, the original song reportedly composed by a lady who was described in contemporary accounts as being well known for her extravagant attire.
April 1, 20179 yr You trickster you. I know it's not a serious piece/arrangement but here are some things: In the main theme, you go up a major second from the tonic in the second phrase, which I don't think is correct. In addition, at the end of the phrase, the reciting tone dips down a minor third before. The pre chorus also has another definition of the tonic before before going to the V7 chord. Verses could use more consistent movement. Crossed voices exist and high notes like to intertwine a little bit too much. Haha, that's all crap commentary though. You got me good!
