It is indeed fits for a film... And can also stand on it's own.
How ignorant was I until now, sticking to a very specific genre, missing such type of music. All I used is to stick to a very specific kind of electronic music while this is pretty refreshing to me!

The music is nice.
You gradually add more instruments, which makes this piece always interesting to listen to.
I agree with the points already mentioned above.
The music would perfectly fit a film (probably because of the minimalistic touches), but it can stand on its own as well.
Maybe you can add some more light percussion like Glockenspiel or triangle.

Very nice! Great build up, definitely impressive incidental music. I can hear a bit of Thomas Newman in there.
