Let me know what you see this piece fitting to, a movie scene, trailer, game, whatever it may be.

On a side note, if you see yourself as a gifted mastering/mixer, please get in touch with me. I would love to pick your brain for some tips and pointers.

Thank you in advance.

Nice cinematic music! I love how you gradually add new instruments/voices to build suspense. A few small details:
3:46: the melody should resolve
5:17: D in the melody should resolve, preferrably to E
Avoid using root position and 2nd inversion diminished triads for harmony, except in certain sequences and in freely tonal/atonal music. There's probably other exceptions, which are hard to write rules around.

It is indeed fits for a film... And can also stand on it's own.
How ignorant was I until now, sticking to a very specific genre, missing such type of music. All I used is to stick to a very specific kind of electronic music while this is pretty refreshing to me!

The music is nice.
You gradually add more instruments, which makes this piece always interesting to listen to.
I agree with the points already mentioned above.
The music would perfectly fit a film (probably because of the minimalistic touches), but it can stand on its own as well.
Maybe you can add some more light percussion like Glockenspiel or triangle.

Well done.
