irises - electric guitar baroque trio

Featured Replies

I finished a short trio recently in the spirit of baroque.
I played it in a rock set, but I tried to make it look like a harpsichord ))
thanks if you find a few words for my progress in this field.

Interesting fusion of styles. I'm tired at the moment so I can't really analyze it for correct part writing unless you upload a score.
Moving away from the F# and doing a section in C# would be a very baroque move to do, and making the lines ore horizontal should help with the style blend, since it currently leans on the electronic side.

Some excellent guitar work, choice of chords. almost like 'modern baroque'.   Starts/stops - great..  Yes I LIKE this.

Very nice instrumental. Reminds of the 60’s when some pop groups started experimenting with baroque and classical influences. Also, the form feels very organically developed and ends quite naturally. Good work!

@Monarcheonyou deeply understand the music, I appreciate your comments, thank you for the visit!

@markstylesThank you for publishing your feelings and for the term 'modern baroque'. from the words baroque and rock also follows a good style of music 'barock'))

@WillibaldI'm very flattered compared with the music of the 60's, this is my favorite period in pop music. progressive rock was born in these times, this is the only intellectual style in the mainstream. many thanks!

I can hardly hear the bass guitar. Interesting style of music. Lovely piece. It reminds me of Bach, kind of.

1:55: awkward 7th leap in melody line. Can be fixed by going up a minor 2nd.

It would be nice if everyone ended simultaneously on one chord instead of breaking it up.

I am grateful to you for your comments, especially flattering was the mention of Bach))
as far as I can remember, I deliberately made this melodic move to the seventh. it seems I did it for reasons of contrast. but after your words, I really hear that it sounds awkward.
