April 15, 20187 yr It's a collection of various scenes, some horror, some suspense, and melodramatic, using Albion's Tundra. Let me know what you think!
April 24, 20187 yr The beginning sounded like the opening of Princess Mononoke (which is good of course). I had fun listening to your piece, thanks for sharing it here.
April 24, 20187 yr Watch out on the end envelopes (cutoff) on your string instruments. The cutoff before the next note takes away from the suspense, in my opinion. The second half was a bit repetitive with the I - ii - ii - IVsus2. Could have used more variation. The beginning was really cool with your effects doubling as a polytonal countermelody!
April 24, 20187 yr Author Thanks Rabbival507! That was actually the first thing that popped into my head when I was playing this, but went along with it because I love Joe Hisaishi so much. Monarcheon: Thanks! I will see if I can edit the soundfonts so it can reverb a bit more afterwards. I agree the second half does get boring after a while. I'll see if I can add some non harmonic notes.
