Songs without words

Featured Replies

A few months ago, I composed a cycle of five piano pieces. I call it Songs without words (not sure why, but nevermind). And now you have the opportunity to hear Nr. 2 and Nr. 3... played by me!

the first piece is surprising because of the different parts (impressionistic vs rhapsodic, I would say).

nice work.

I'm a huge fan of no. 2 (except for the use of the doubled fifth interval (G5) in the rhapsodic section), but not as big a fan of 3. This one seems very alone, which would be fine if it weren't for the contrast of actually alone ascending lines.

Thank you for your feedback!

Nice pieces, liked them both but found the second one more enjoyable; well done.
