Comments on the New Forum Software

Well, yeah, that certainly isn't normal. Thing is, most of the time whenever an SQL error occurs, both admins get forwarded some information about it via email and it is recorded into our error logs. But this doesn't happen with the pager, it would seem, so there is no way to adequately diagnose the problem.

It would appear however that there are some issues with reliability on this server as well as speed. Today I checked my email to find a flurry of messages reporting a "can't connect" SQL error...not for the first time, either (though the issue persisted for less than a minute). And I'm finding the support responses from the hosting technicians so political at times, I simply cannot discern whether they are being a technician or playing salesmen.
