August 1, 20205 yr It's an excellent little piece, you have fantastic phrasing and expression, Parts of the main theme felt a little too repetitive at times particularly when it comes back, perhaps you could add some rhythmic interest with some triplets somewhere. Measure 18: That trill does sound very convincing to me, perhaps use a descending sequence to land back on the tonic. The middle section in 2/4 sounds a bit jarring initially, It's a good theme but it comes in too suddenly, perhaps reworking the bar before would apply some more beneficial transitions. Over all it's very good. It individual and has a distinct style. I look forward to seeing more of you work 🙂

August 3, 20205 yr I like that quite a lot, Amazing. I love how you use that simple motif of 2 eighth notes anacrusis as a backbone of the piece. Also the left hand helps to emphasize the rythm and flow. Did you got inspirantion from a certain style or composer. Very catchy and clever all through 🙂 Congratulations! I don't know why I reminds me a bit of that lovely prelude by E. Grieg, though the similarities are not evident. Edited August 3, 20205 yr by Guillem82

Interesting, I would have never said it was Mozart inspiried, because it sounds a bit more contemporary to me... but anyway what actually matters is the good result 🙂 Edited August 3, 20205 yr by Guillem82
August 5, 20205 yr I really love this piece. I've been revisiting Mozart lately and have come to truly appreciate the genius that he was. I can definitely hear the influence from him, but I think you've done a tremendous job in taking from him a wealth of knowledge and making something your own. I would have loved some more rests in the B theme! It's a beautiful progression, but a bit of phrasing would elevate this to the next level imo. This is one I'll come back to often, thanks for sharing! I hope you stick around and comment on others works. You'll receive more feedback too
