Ballad No. 1 in Bb Major

Recommended Posts

It's a very pleasant piece!  In the middle where you introduce the 16th note figures it starts to all of a sudden sound like Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No.3!  LoL  But it's not a copy by any means and you return to the original material from the beginning.  You employ the same kind of variation in accompaniment figures as you did in your Ballade No.3 which keeps the left hand interesting.  There is also plenty of rhythmic variety where the melody sometimes comes in on an offbeat.  Thanks for the music and keep writing!
