Hi! I just completed all five movements of choir piece (Chamber Music by James Joyce)... Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated!

This piece is based on five poems (#1, #14, #20, #34 and #36) from the collection, and this is for SATB (with divisi) unaccompanied choir...

I'll definitely add the piano (rehearsal only) part once finishing all revisions based on your comments...

Thanks so much for your help, and have a nice day (happy new year)! :)

I like the way you manage the secondal/quartal harmonies and clusters, for example in the third and fourth pieces. They work fine until they become the standard for my ears.

Have you any influences from composers .... Whitacre for example?

Yes! I really loved pandiatonic harmonies from Whitacre’s choral music, studying and analyzing his pieces (Lux Aurumque, Cloudburst, Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine, etc.)…
