"Felt like showing some love. This is great!"

Hi, this is a side piece that I've worked on whilst I work on the revision for the Alula Variations (I love doing reworks on a 30 mins piece's score hahaha....). I chose bassoon and flute because I kinda wanted to write a chamber piece and write for bassoon. I also like the vibe of the OST. So yeah, hope you enjoy!

This is an exquisitely beautiful work with lush harmonies, rhythms, and haunting melodic lines.  The interplay between the flute and bassoon is lovely and fun!  The piano accompaniment fits like a glove and carries the work forward with sensitivity and energy.  This work needs to be performed.  The rendering is superb what music library did you use?

For the flute I use Symphonic Sounds (Flute SSO), for the bassoon I use VSCO 2, and before, for the piano I use Yamaha C5 but I've changed to Salamander.

Thank you! The OST's theme is very sustained because it's supposed to be an ambience, so I had to get creative with the variations/paraphrases. Also, while composing, I tried to focus on juggling between all three instruments, so I hope they sound balanced. Again, thanks for the reply.

Your music is always so unique and complicated, a collage of wonderous sounds. I listened without analyzing, just wanted to say I enjoyed the ride you put me on with this. Well done 🙂

Hey dude, really appreciate that you like the style on my music and glad you enjoyed the piece itself. Thanks for the comment!

Hi @Ferrum!

I love the combination of flute and bassoon plus the piano! Very nice writing for both the winds and the piano! All 3 instruments are given the chance to sing the melody and I like that! Very nice counterpoint in b.106 section! For me the modulation in b.129 is amazing! Very nice stylistic harmony and melody for me, even though I never play game hahahahaha! My fav.section is probably the Allegro Vivace in Eb major, so fresh and rhythmic there. I should have said much more but don't because like @Thatguy v2.0 I'm just listening without giving a shxt to analyze at all lol! Thx very much for sharing this unique piece!
