Becoming a Mod or a Reviewer

Hey, I'm wondering how do people become:

1. A Moderator?

2. A Reviewer?

and in addition, is there a chance that people can still try out/apply for those positions?

Whenever they need someone, they (the staff) decide who they feel would be appropriate and offer them positions. They also consider the people they know are interested so be sure to let them know.

When it's time, they'll decide as a group who gets to be a staff member.

In general, anyone who really strongly wants to be one probably shouldn't. ;)

Just stating the facts. Is it not true that someone who wants power a little too much will probably end up abusing it?

What does a mod do? and how many mods do we have right now?

Is there even any reason we would want to be a reviewer?
