Librettist or Lyricist?

Featured Replies

So yeah... It is about Summer time ("and the living is easy"). And, I am sort of looking for a long range project starting in the summer with not really any pressure.

I want to write a short opera (if you know Trouble in Tahiti by Bernstein, you know what I am talking about). I need a lyric (or libretto) writer who is willing to come up with a story line, is set in the modern time period, and doesn't mind my style of music (which is modernistic, Bernsteinish, Sondheimish, you get the point).

Now, this project should be probably in ONE act, pretty short (maybe an hour long... a little longer possibly). Not a big deal really for anybody. And, I know my music isn't the best in the world, I have been composing for a while and my experience is relatively... good, to the people who have heard my music. If you are interested, contact me by private message and we can look at some things.

Also, this should be fun. I am looking for somebody who doesn't make a lot of demands and allows me to make artistic freedom. ALSO, I WILL TO THE SAME FOR YOU.

Thank you,

Morivou.
