The output is fantastic, you did a great job with the production quality. But when you post in these forums though, please be mindful and respectful of other people's critiques or opinions. Unless you specifically tell us otherwise in your post, you are essentially inviting us to be critical. And @Kvothe 's observation about your sheet music is 100%. It's clear you sequenced this in some other program though, and it appears you are using MuseScore for the output of the sequenced output. This would explain the engraving issues. With that said, the music itself, is beautiful! It instantly brings me back to the 80s!

This piece of music did it’s a really good job, capturing the quietness and beauty of the given landscape. It’s not really my cup of tea, but it’s relaxing and it gives the atmospheric feeling that you’re actually there. Very Good Well Done You've Set a Standard that's Hard to compete with.... By using only 3 Instruments, you've been able to create an inspiring, "MOOD".

- Landscapes competition submission - Morning On Whidbey Island
This is my submission for the Landscapes competition. For my landscape I have chosen this photo I took a few years ago while on vacation on Whidbey Island, which sits on the Puget Sound near Seattle. It's written for Oboe, Bassoon, and Harp. I wanted to capture the quiet, stillness of the moment with music that is very simple and delicate. Thanks for the listen and the kind words!- Last week
- Sonata no 23 in F sharp major ( Binary form )
Dear friend, thank you very much for your kind words—I’m glad you liked it. The piano is the Pianoteq 9 plugin. Sometimes the compression or the microphones might not be properly adjusted, so it can sound a bit muddled, but Pianoteq is the best there is when it comes to software. Also, I’m the one playing. I record it using the GarageBand program.- Stream of Consciousness No. 1
I really enjoyed it. And it reminded me of Ives’s sonatas, although he didn’t improvise. Certainly, given its length and the fact that it’s improvised, it’s phenomenal. It never loses its direction or its appeal.- Sonata no 23 in F sharp major ( Binary form )
A beautiful piece that strikes me as being in the neoclassical style. It’s always lovely to see handwritten sheet music. I’m not sure if it’s a live performance or a virtual instrument; these days, anything is possible. The sound is a bit ‘muddled’ for my taste in a style like this.- Landscapes - Soundscapes - Spring 2026 Composition Competition

- Petals & Manuscripts, waltz for orchestra (most of it)
Hey everyone!! I’ve been deep into some bigger projects lately (I actually got live performances of my music and I'm composing even more!), but I didn’t want these melodies to just sit untouched, so I brought a few of them together into a four-part waltz & coda — some sections orchestrated, others still in their original piano form. It’s a bit of a mix of ideas and moments, all gathered into one piece. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed putting it together!!- ORCHESTRATION FINAL HELP *URGENT*
String Quintet in F#m.pdf Fm fun.mp3 I LOVE this figure...was thinking I might go all, "Un Sospiro" with this and have a melody happening at the bottom of the figure Chord.mp3 I need something kind of flashy and shocking there...not just a regular V7 in minor, so I'll have to keep experimenting w/ it. Maybe C7 to F maj- ORCHESTRATION FINAL HELP *URGENT*

HI there, I truly appreciate your effort in writing an full orchestral version of this, However, I suggest you with string orchestra first! That way, you have constraint. You can still have a can still drum kit. Next we need to address score prep (layout and engraving); While you have the correct layout of the score, the notation is hard to read. Keep this in mind: you want the score to be polish as possible! Behind bars is excellent book. Berklee has a book, too! For instance, the piano part is impossible to read!- Landscapes - Soundscapes - Spring 2026 Composition Competition

Thanx The Choir was created to sound similar ,to the Film " In the Beginning " The Creation of the 1st Human-Prototype The Score was not created in a DAW, it was exported from the system,as a MIDI File, into the "MuseScore Studio 4" I dont like the DAWS as the " Lego-Brick concept " slowed me down to much. https://youtu.be/ao5VegZ4JD8?t=547 - Landscapes competition submission - Morning On Whidbey Island
