Some side notes: Advice: Use tubes instead of solid state. The grace period for tubes is much larger than solid state. This roughly translates into your amp won't blow up when it power ups and you can debug without blowing up too, Pick your speakers first. From there you need to pick the output and single/push-pull. Compare different schematics. IF you're reasonably smart, you'll see patterns. Once your design are picked, you essentially has sealed the ability of your amp. KISS (keep it simple stupid.) Pay attention to rating and values of parts. If you don't, things blow up. Transformers, enough to support voltage and current. Choke needs to be pretty damn close to your current. Chassis, be smart, don't skip it. Chassis needs to look cool, but remember current goes where current needs to go. Don't let the chassis be, edit. That means, be good with metalshop. Refer to transformer for drill size. IEC power cord needs a hole. You'll be surprised how often people forget that -_-. Don't forget a primer. Cure the paint. Wire up one by one. Otherwise, it'll be to much to follow. Directly > indirect(wiring) ezpz.
