  2. So, recently I have been listening to a lot of ambient, music and I think the style is very interesting. I've been trying to grasp It for a bit, but It's hard to compose. The last time I tried this, I wasn't too happy with the result and I don't think It was, so I'm trying again. this time around, I'm sharing It while It's still in development so I can catch early mistakes, and receive input. ambient.mp3
  3. for this, I used an old broken, and out of tune synth keyboard to give me an arpeggio, I played around with the notes switches to make it sound right. Then I had to record it, send it, download it, and sample it; I added some piano and the song was good. It's supposed to sound off tune and off beat, to make it sound more janky and broken like the piano. let me know if I should compose more music like this please! nostalgia.mp3
  4. Things added - drums- riser at start- bass near end part- added instruments for beat drop- anyway, here it is:
  5. remix
  6. It's them! they started "Random"!
  7. ok, I worked on it and gave it a MUCH needed improvement. this is what is it looks like right now. I honestly don't know what to do next, and I'm curious what you guys think, or if I should add any new instruments for either The next part or the part I have right now. to note, I also want it to be ~3 - 4 minutes long. This song actually came to me about 3 years ago, before I even knew what a "sharp" was, and before I started composing music. I Don't know how I still remember it. back then I thought of a lot of melodies in my head when I was bored and learned them on my Piano; now, I mostly play piano and if I play something I like, I continue it with my software, FL studio. I got really confused when I realized in the old one, after the intro it changed to C# and I thought the intro was D# so I changed the chorus to that, but apparently it was A# anyway. small mistake, big difference. anyway, here's how the progress is going. take a listen.
  8. kinda ambient.
  9. ok I guess I'll work on this song. reccomend any plugins or soundfonts?
  10. thought I was going for a dark song; guess I was wrong.
  11. I tried
  12. making a second version soon!
  13. since I post a lot of songs that aren't relevant to each other, I made a whole thread instead.
  14. I finally learned how to make glide notes and might've overused them a bit 😅 the main chords that you hear in the start are made of music notes, and then adds harpsichord and piano. the song itself kind of sounds medieval from my instrument choice but that's kind of on purpose. I added an arpeggio and an octave change to the chorus to add some needed depth too. this is by far my best work. I first thought of something like witch town when all I had was the barebones chorus and it didn't really sound that good for a piece, but it was all I had. then I thought of night of the small town but I wanted some synonyms so I thought of dawn of the city. the whole song gives off some halloween- ish vibes but Its way past that competition took me about 5 days and probably around 4 - 6 hours in total

  16. How about we just ban AI and trust that people are honest, and if people find out that it's AI, they get temporarily banned. This way, people will be afraid to post AI content and not post any.
  17. I made a song for my sister. I asked what to call it and she said "I don't know so I took that phrase and put it through a fancy and long for no reason translator and It gave me something really long, so I shortened it to "shrouded in obscurity" also, this is the last short and effortless song I will make, because I'm trying to make better quality music.
