Paginani
Ok, I am a bit scared now, seeing as I have had a piece posted in the chamber music section since the eight, and no review. And it's not just my piece that is being neglected. With all my previous peices the first review always comes about a day or two after posting, but this is... scary:angry: What is wrong at the moment? Where is everyone?:(
Saiming
Maybe you are not reviewing other peoples works enough. It can also be that you do not present your piece well enough, and give the impression that you do not have time to tells us thoroughly about the piece in question. Flint
Also, keep in mind that the past month has been really busy for most people.

Daniel
It's simple - review a person's piece, and pester them to review one of yours in return. Obviously this won't have a 100% success rate, so you should get into a habit of reviewing new pieces.

It can also be that you do not present your piece well enough, and give the impression that you do not have time to tells us thoroughly about the piece in question. I only came back a week or so ago, and since I have posted my piece, I have reviewed about a dozen pieces, mostly in the chamber music and piano section.:O Also, keep in mind that the past month has been really busy for most people. Probably true. I'll hang on a while... (probably just mild paranoia):whistling: It seems even the composers of the pieces I review rarely reply. It's simple - review a person's piece, and pester them to review one of yours in return. Obviously this won't have a 100% success rate, so you should get into a habit of reviewing new pieces. I'll be more persistent!
James H.
Yeah, but you have to be like, "Hey, you should check out my "So and So" (provide link), I think you might enjoy it." Otherwise, you might get very short, unhelpful comments. Politeness is the name of the game.
Alan
Yeah, but you have to be like, "Hey, you should check out my "So and So" (provide link), I think you might enjoy it." Otherwise, you might get very short, unhelpful comments. Politeness is the name of the game. Tell me about it! I have never had any thread of mine (minus Clarinet Vibrato?) responded to within two days... I have never pestered anyone to view a thread, and I do a lot of reviewing... I guess that's what I get :P Anyway, everything that has been stated in ths thread seems to be true for me :D
