Okay, this piece is really different than what most people are used to all this forum. This style of music is called reggaeton and it is kind of like Urban and Hip-hop mixed in one with latin beats. It's a cool sound. Anyway, feel free to attack,

And I come from one of the lands of Reggaeton. 0_0

I can't listen to it at the moment due is too late and can't make sounds.

haha, i was afraid that no one on this site had any interest in urban or hippity hop at al...i'm relieved...and this is really well done, i could definitely bump to this. how did you make this music?

I guess the simple answer is by writing it. It really just comes out from making the main beats and then writing a few free flows over it. After that is done, we edit the the track, add some fillers and then we redo the vocals to match the edited background.

vell i see, hmm i guess what i meant was ...what did you use to make this music?

Oh, a studio lol. One of my friend's from high school owns an indie studio and he lets me use free rooms.

oh GAAAFGHGHGGG

Not this, AAAGH.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Make it stoppu~

Just seeing "reggaeton" sends me into spasms of destruction. ... Like Ax

I never understood why tonalist come listen to music they know they'll hate. It isn't like we go to their traditional works pages and scream from their awful tonal centers and lack of creativity.

Duuude,

This is very cool - REALLY well produced. How much of this involves you? Are you singing? Guitar? Whatever...it's still got a heavy groove, and a decent hook.

Basically any instrument you hear is me on the keyboard or actually playing it. The first vocals you hear are mine.

Producing is one of my favorite hobbies. Writing is great, performer is awesome, but being able to mix all the sounds into cohesion just can't be beat.

This is hot stuff! Wow, I love it a lot. Very dancy, and blends elements of several music styles... Hell its professional grade production on this. *bows to your superior production skills*

By the way, that beat is HOT.

I got to listen to it. It was very well done for that kind of music, it sounds like the others.

by the way I don't like reggeaton and I lives in a place where I have it around me. Lol

this scared the scraggy out of me.

it's done well though.

I really like that!

Too bad that you're not around to reply and read to my post...

It's very facny, very hot AND sexy! It's also ready for production and being sold! It's very well produced and carefully mastered! Hope you get a publishing deal or whatever you wish... :)

gently caress! THis is a hit! his is awesome! I can listen to it through the summer! Time to rip it and steal it, etc... (kidding)

I agree. This deserves to be aired. It's so sexy, the mixing is professional. Go sign a record deal! Form a band! Get this piece out to the world now. ;)

EDIT: Under genre, it's still labelled as "classical: baroque". I suggest you change to get more hits.

Thank man lol. I am not really into the whole publishing thing anymore. I used to be and I got a few things under my belt professional, but it's a time consuming task. Feel free to steal it =).

Lol that won't be possible.

The guy who recorded this with me is a Colombian rebel. In light of recent events he went back to Colombia and rejoined his rebel unit. So there goes our mini band lol.

As for classical thing, it's a joke and now my account is under review. Kind of funny, but ya know it happens.

I pretty much agree with what has been said: great beat, catchy hook, etc. Very lively string arrangements. A few complaints, however:

* I feel that the mix could be improved. Snare drum is too quiet, vocals are too loud.

* Not sure I agree with the parts with the kick drum in 16th notes; it's pretty overwhelming. Maybe reduce the volume on the intermediate kick hits between the downbeats?

* A lot of the synths have a fairly cheesy, dated sound to them, particularly the fanfare-y hook synth.

I disagree with the snare and vocals part. I feel they are at the right level.

I agree with the synth, but something is needed there. At the time I couldn't think of anything better to use. It seemed to fit. If you have any ideas feel free to tell me.

I say that it needs more bass in the mix to really get the scallopes to rub their donkey against me semi-rhythmically.

Otherwise, it's almost there.

The Force is strong with this piece.

Heavy groove, sexy vocals, interesting mix of genres. I could really hear this tune on the radio someday. (And that's not a bad thing)

Only thing missing is the lack of a prominent bass.

Other than that it's awesome, good work.

I could image myself listen to this in my leisure time. It has a dark tonal quality compared other reggaeton, but over all awesome.

This sounds just like Daddy Yankee, right down to the specific drum sounds.

For anyone who has not heard any Daddy Yankee, if you listen to his track called "Gasolina", that's pretty much what I'm basing this on. This track and that track could be next to each other on the same album and I'd think they were written by the same person.

So, clearly I'm suspicious of the authorship of this track, but if you really did create it then I'm very impressed because it's brilliant.
