April 18, 200916 yr Hi, all-- Sorry to use the forum this way, but Ron and I have been unable to communicate via email, and he has sent me several pager messages which I can't respond to since I don't have 20 posts here yet (them's the technologically-enforced rules). Hi Ron-- I don't know what is happening--I sent two separate emails, in addition to the one you've quoted back to me, to the same email address--one last night and one early today. "Hi, Ron-- thanks for giving the piece your approval. I know it is non-traditional and I appreciate the slack. I've certainly composed in a more traditional manner, in several styles, but I have to go where the muse takes me--and this time it took me here. Ok, here it is--the biggest, the best, the most complete mix so far--only lacking a short guitar solo, a short scat vocal solo and some live women's voices over ambient sampled choral parts. We had a gas loading the soundtrack over the DVD today, and the the video editor--who is very creative himself--said "This music makes the pictures stand still--we need more movement!"
