I am looking for feedback on a software program that my husband and his colleague have created that is a comprehensive tutorial on the basics of composing. The fully interactive program, entitled "Secret Composer," is designed for both beginner and experienced musicians who want to learn composition from a professional composer who reveals techniques and "tricks of the trade" in a very straightforward, user friendly fashion. Secret Composer is full of musical examples and related scores that, with a click of the mouse, explicitly illustrate the composition, orchestration and theory concepts underlying a host a varied musical styles and moods. It has been designed for teenagers and young adults. They would love to get feedback on this program and are looking for professional composers to take a look at it.
