Mrs.BK's Entrance Theme

Featured Replies

Nah, she's not really that evil. But she's imposing and mean (all 5 feet of her :)).

She deserved an entrance theme to reflect the kind of feeling she inspires upon walking into the room and I figured I could take the liberty of making it.

I did.

She still hasn't seen it.

But you guys can! Check it out and let me know what you think

in my opinion, it doesn't really sound like an evil tune. but it does sound like an entrance of a really fat chubby character though. she wouldn't happen to be a little "big" would she?

She is indeed "big"! That's the exact feeling I was going for, the entrace of such a character. Thank you for listening!

Fantastic! I could almost see her in my mind's eye. ;)

This one made me crack up---I could just imagine her waddling into a band room. Well done.

Hehe, class. :)

Very good! It's almost a little comical, but completely manages to evoke the mental image of a portly woman stomping slowly along a room.

One thing you could do is try to extend that first bit of melody. Ten seconds in, I was kind of expecting a repetition of the section prior, but perhaps a key down; you could argue that breaking expectation is a desirable goal, but I'm not sure — I personally think it'd work well. That melody just seems like it's begging to be continued for a little while.

Still, good stuff! I'm sure she'll appreciate hearing it. :)

hahaha, yes thank you all for the comments :)

The reason that the piece is so short is because it was meant to be a more or less accurate representation of the amount of time it takes her to walk from the music office into the classroom and then hop onto her little conducting chair .

Perhaps I'll expand it into a full overture and then show it to her; she still hasn't seen this. I expect she'd probably laugh and then give me a detention. And poke me with her baton.

but on the plus side, she'd be talking to you

Maybe you'll be turned into one of her concubines.

Overall : Pretty sweet

My favorite part is when the bass drum or timpani hits come in and the rest of the parts come together!

You know what I gone say - but I say it anyway: Great Stuff! :D

And this song shows that even a terrifying teacher can be the source of something good

My mom likes it.

I'd listen to it, but I don't want to be callde a nerd among ther things by my brotehr and his friends... it's 10:30, shouldn't they be gone by now? Oh well.

Nice song! It definitely has a comical feel to it and you did a good job

on the orchestration.

I kind of get the evil guy vibe. It could probably serve as a

evil guy's character theme in a japanese rpg.

Heheh. It works very well with that fat brass, and those trilling flutes. And military drum roll.

You have very good musical expression, I've noticed.

I like this. Good orchestration.

Haha I'm laughing at my seat right now! Your next work should be representing you stuck in detention with her. :P

I reckon this'd make a good addition to any comical movie, thumbs up.

Nice job, Marius! Added a very humorous note to my day, thanks.
