No, it's the foundation of all clarinets. A ''clarinet queen'', if you wish.

Hi everyone, im new on YC and im just so excited to be here, with all of the talented young composers. For the next while, i will be needing your support and there is going to be many things for me to learn through you guys. So with all due respect, thx guys

Hey guys how do you make the MIDI file so small? and how do you paste it on there?

Hey James QZ

Just moved your posts here, because it's the relevant topic.

Welcome to YC, and enjoy your time here!

I hope you can grow alot here as a composer, and become part of the community :)

P.S. Midi files are files you can export from a sequencer or music notation programme. They are normally small. You can't really make an mp3 into a midi if that's what you were thinking.

Welcome to the new folks.

Ahoy, welcome to YC.

So, I am Thomas B, I live in the Netherlands and I am 16 years old. I have been playing piano for about 7 years now, but I never really did it seriously. Lately though, I have been improving quite a bit. Now I also started writing my own music, but I am nowhere near great at it.

Thanks! John Galt

actually I like your name.

Hey everyone. I'm Becky. I'm a 47 year old mother of 4 and grandmother of 2. I'm hoping to get alot of feedback on things I write because my family tells me everything I write is good and what I really want is constructive criticism. :)

Pleased to meet you Becky.

Great to have another female composer on here.

I hope you enjoy the forum, and grow alot as a composer :)

Refreshing to have an older member on the board! Welcome! :D

I'm anxious to hear your music, and if you want to know what we kids are doing here, go to Major Works Forum! :o

Whatch your mouth, young one. Wouldn't want to be misinterpreted ;)

Welcome Becky and it is great to have another female, there's too few of us here. :ermm:

Hello, I just found this board today whilst searching at random on the Net.

My name is Bobby. I live in Michigan and am 19 years old. I am keeping busy this summer by playing keyboard at two different churches in my town. Previously, I have played at two other churches, starting when I was 16. (I began piano lessons around 12 years ago.)

In addition to piano, I also play guitar and mandolin. I enjoy writing my own compositions and arrangements in Melody Assistant (the music program I use).

Hi! my name is James and I live in Ontario, Canada. I'm 16 and I just love composing. I have been composing since 8 and things has been great since then. I know that I have much more to learn, and i hope we will have a great time together sharing music.

hey you guys. YouOtterKnow, you play the Mandolin? That is awesome! That, along with the lute, are two of my top 5 cool and underrated instruments!

James QZ, welcome! I can't wait to hear some of your stuff. Since you were 8, you've been composing? I wish I had started that early.

Welcome, you two! Trust me, throw yourselves into this forum and become a part of what's going on, even the nonmusical stuff. You'll be glad you did; just remember to keep an open mind and be kind to the mods! ;)

On a different note, giselle, the girl I had a relationship with a few months ago played the mandolin. Now she's taking up the guitar.
