Okay, so I'm a little annoyed at the new process for uploading scores/music, but meh, it looks funky, and I'll get used to it I guess.

Tepidamente

I wrote this short prelude in a few hours last year, and no that's not me showing off my 'fast writing prowess' but rather, just showing the kind of simpleness of the piece. I had very limited material and just based the piece of that, like any other composer. There's nothing much to say about it, and I'm not really asking for tips on what I could change...because I don't plan on working on it again ;) Just let me know what you think of it, and I would love to get it performed by whoever wants to give it a go. It is possible to play btw :P the MP3 just makes it sound ridiculous -_-' finale still does a fantastic job of failing me.

I'm not sure what to say really, perhaps if the recording had been more intimate and a richer sound (which you would probably have wanted yourself :P), I would have felt it was interesting to listen to. But frankly I didn't hear much in it. I thought bar 7 was very interesting, but other than that it didn't appeal much to me :)

**Judging SOLELY on how it sounded (because I have absolutely no idea how it'd sound with a better recording)**

I too don't really see much in this piece. It would probably work as incidental music, but I just found this piece grating on the nerves, and not in a good way.

Think about it: if you were to gather a group of people who did not know if you could play piano or not, and then you played this song for them, do you really think they'd be impressed?

Measures 7 & 8 were interesting in the quick little arpeggios, but still...the overall piece felt really pointless.

You get a pass on this though, because 1) you wrote this in a few hours, and 2) "you don't plan on working on the piece again" xD Which probably means you don't really think much of it either, otherwise you'd want to develop it more.

In any case, thanks for sharing ;)

sweet simple piece. good structure; the opening motive has something lyrical.

I thought it was ok.

I can't really think of anything to say... I liked bars 12 and 13 probably the most as well as the rhythmic idea in both 7 and 8

I want to give some of your other music a listen to..

Kinda Creepy when I first heard it.

Anyway, keep up the good work!

Cheers!
