August 24, 201015 yr Hello everyone. I made this piece today. I allways use Midimaker to compose, and later the program called Midi2wav. The piece is showing the feelings I have today. I have tried to make some spesial moments here and there. Tiny moments :) The piece is not so complicated with many annoying instruments at once etc. It is more lika a story. August 25, 201015 yr Hey Dronjom! Neat piece. It has a neat arc to it where it starts off thin, and then more instruments get added and then it finishes thin again. I know you're using basic midi sounds, but I think you can still do better. Message Cheeselord. He's got a lot of good free sound fonts. I'm assuming you're gonna change your piece up. What are you thinking of doing with it? Some sections could use a bit more low end; sometimes, it's just flutes and violins and your piece loses a lot of support. Nice work, Dronjom! -John
August 25, 201015 yr I agree with john at points it could do with low end. When you're building it up it would help to add a bit of a bass to it as well even if its just as simple as a cello or double bass playing the roots of chords. However saying that it is a good piece and I liked it.
August 29, 201015 yr Author Hi, sorry for late reply. Thank you both for responses and feedback! :) I am not sure what to do next. John: I know the sounds are a bit simple, I hope to get it better, I will contact him soon, I think :) I will see what I can do with more bass notes too. I understand what you mean. Also: today I got mail from a school student from 2nd year highschool who want some of my music in movieprojects at school :) thats very cool! Thanks again for your responses:)
