Lush, and I can definitely attach a visual to this; always, always a plus. It doesn't seem to have much of a direction? It ebbs and flows but never peaks or troughs. I would have loved to hear a huge buildup only to have the sound quietly die away back to the FM7 chord. Speaking of seventh chords, I'd recommend experimenting with inversions a little bit. I hear your sevenths on top a lot and having something of a leading tone seventh in the bass and resolving up to a new key? Things like that are always cool. Very good! Luis Hernández Posted October 1, 2016 Share Posted October 1, 2016 I've heard the piano solo version before. It's different. What they have in common is that nostalgic feeling. I see this theme (in both versions) as a track for a film, for example. You know in the movies the music is presented in different forms. Nice.
