It is based primarily on the short story "Quiquern" by Rudyard Kipling, a tale of two Eskimo children and their dog who venture out during a blizzard to find food for their starving village, only to become lost in the arctic wilderness. January 2, 20179 yr I think this piece has not a particular structure, it's more programatic. Well, in fact, I don't care, that fits with the concept you tell us. The music is wonderful, there are many contemporarry harmonic techniques used wit great balance. The engraving is also beautiful.
January 3, 20179 yr Very nice stuff. My only gripe would be the constant switch between lushness and pointalistic material, but if that's what the story says, I guess...
