Still not great at introductions, so straight into the composition: it's a mixture of atmospheric 'suspense' and semi-horror feels. It's basically one of the least metal/rock - ish creations I have created, having the heaviest part in the end. All opinions will be very appreciated, and hopefully will add up to my overall experience for better creations in the future, hopefully. Enjoy!

As mentioned above it's less on the 'Rock' side so I assume this is the right place for it. Also, just for the sake of it, is the video in any way pleasing or immersive?

As your main melody turned into a bassline the horror elements kind of slipped away. It became a little too typical for the horror setting. Just repeated notes takes away from the ambience, especially with that timbre.
The chord changes in the sections thereafter were cool and subtly dissonant and that's really awesome!
I honestly think 1:55 would have been a really cool ending place and the metal section could have been put in the middle as a climax that you could have led into. That's how I hear it anyway, since it's so short and doesn't have the cadential feeling that 1:55 does.
Good job!

This seems to be the case when I go through a composition multiple times in an attempt to perfect it and as a result I repeat too much of it.

Among metal and rock songs it's quite common to find that abrupt ending and most of my compositions no matter what have that influence, even if I try avoiding it haha. I might re-arrange it and upload the output here, would be interested to see how it's going to sound like. Thanks for your opinion, Monarcheon!

UPDATE: Well I did re-arrange it, as a melody it logically fits better as you said, but of course just re-arranging it wouldn't make the overall sound/theme be similar or at the same quality, so it's not quite easy for me to edit it. However experience learned, mistake won't be made twice. Thank you.

I like it, and the final part gives that impression of "anxiety"...

That's a very accurate description to it, it's indeed intended to give such a feeling for the sake of the 'horror' atmosphere. Thanks for your opinion, appreciated!
