Waltz in E Major

Featured Replies

Hey, everyone ! It's been a few years since I've last posted on this forum.. I haven't been as productive with composing as I should've been these past few years.. needless to say, I'm still pretty new. 😛

Here's a piece I finished back in 2014 and posted here a long time ago.. So, since I'm getting back into composing (and that this is arguably my best work out of the very few I have) I wanted some fresh feedback on it.. I wanna improve as a composer.. so please, don't hold back with the critiques. 🙂

Cheers!

Nic

It is nice to listen to it, it has beautiful melodies. I wonderful why you wrote all the left  hand in eighths... with the pedal they could  have been written in fourths .

I would think of adding  some  middle  section changing the texture or the rhythm.

I listened to the piece and it's awesome. I'm a huge fan waltz and nocturne (specially in Chopin's style) and your piece was one of the closest ones to chopin's pieces!

Thank you, guys .. I appreciate the feedback 🙂

I'm also a huge fan of waltz, and this is quite relaxing 😊

Good job! 👍

I liked it all but the ending. The root E tonic triad in bar 60 show be just a fifth.
