June 25, 20187 yr I use an electronic loop as an element to provide atmosphere although it's more chamber work than electronica. I've cranked up the piano click intentionally. If you are scratching your head after hearing this, 'that's different', or 'hmm', then I have succeeded.
June 25, 20187 yr An important thing to always remember in this day and age; artist intent is often neglected in modern theoretical analysis. An interesting experiment, to be sure. Elements of imitative polyphony are evident, as a motivic structure. It even has rather classical structure. It flows decently well, I just wish the motif was elided or obscured in some way, rather than being repeated apparently throughout. Especially with readout or sheetmusic it would make analysis really engaging!
