Wrote a first movement of a Webern-Babbit kind of hybrid piece. Not sure if I like the process enough to keep going?

You should definitely keep going. You could potentially take this anywhere you want to go. My favorite part is the pizzicato and suspenseful high strings.

I has good flowing and sense of tension-relax. I feel a main arch that begins and ends with pointillistic writing a middle climax with all the voices together.

In addition to what the others said, I wanted to say that I love how detailed your notation is! All the articulations and everything seem really intentional. Nice sketch!

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. I haven't expanded upon it yet, but perhaps a small Webern-like set wouldn't hurt sometime down the line. 🙂
