October 16, 20196 yr Just recently finished my piano piece titled "Walking on G." It's like a mellow mesh of Erik Satie & Arvo Pärt. Would love your guys' feedback on this!
October 22, 20196 yr Often we get inspired by composers that we like. And sometimes it's best used as a catalyst for helping us compose, as I think it is here. This sounds more romantic than either of those two stripped down composers, and that's totally fine because this works well on its own. The bald statement of the minor 9th in the opening bars is jarring, even though when it's played later on in the piece, it sounds fine because you've given it the proper context. You might want to rethink that.

December 18, 20196 yr I think you've created a very lovely piece of music here. I don't have the knowledge at this point to make any intelligent critiques about the style, but I can assure you that I enjoyed the composition and hope you will consider uploading a score for it sometime so we can see how it looks notated out. Nice work!
December 19, 20196 yr It's always nice to hear a live recording because it really brings the music to life! You wrote beautifully, definitely will enjoy listening to this a few more times!
