March 21, 20206 yr Hey David! This doesn't really strike me as a waltz, althouh it is in 3/4 time. That being said, I don't see it as a problem at all. It's a great cinematic track, and as the rest of your music, it's very well-produced! Great job!
March 21, 20206 yr Voice leading likely needs to be looked into... lots of times where the dominant and submediant occur simultaneously for equal metrical durations and the tonic arpeggiated voice leading (i.e. violins G A Bb D vs. cellos G D Bb G) sounds strange as there seems to be a disconnect between harmonic functions.

That's a great compliment 🙂 And indeed, maybe it's not a typical waltz but more a 3/4 rhythm cinematic track.
