Tortualex
Hi to everyone, since finally I have vacations I decided to try to compose a tango. I called it "primer tango?" Which could be translated as "First tango?" because it has some things that get out of the genre, so you can say that this is a personal interpretation. Also it's the first time that I writte for bandoneon so the left hand is pretty empty. So what do you think? it sound like tango?. The structure is simple. Introduction: A A' with repetition: B: bridge: Introduction: A A'. Also, I tried to make a sheet music video with a animated background intead of just the sheet music so it is also a experiment in that, I also attach PDF and mp3 if it is easier to read that way. PeterthePapercomPoser
Nice job! I really like the character of this dance which you emulate very well in this piece! It is instantly recognizable by it's rhythm, instrumentation and characteristics. I guess you chose to employ a double bass instead of a cello because of it's jazz associations? It's pretty cool all around and I love the melody - it is quite catchy and I'm singing it to myself after the piece has already finished. So good job there - you didn't just copy the style - you made it your own and in a unique way. Thanks for sharing!

I decided to use a double bass intead of cello just because I like double bass more, I love it's deep and powerfull sound. Also I have a Double bassist friend and I wanted to include his intrument in one of my pieces.
Guardian25
This is a very nice piece, it makes me want to try to dance to it lol. It reminds me very of Astor Piazzolla!
Luis Hernández
Yes, beautiful piece. Sometimes it has more spanish gestures here and there, which blend quite well. The sound of the acordeón (or bandoneón) is good, but the piano and background sounds a bit muddy. It's not a composition issue, just a thing of the virtual instruments. Thanks for sharing.
MJFOBOE
I enjoyed this work very much. I with agree with the above comments that there are Spanish motifs that work well with this Tango. Thanks for sharing. I loved the inclusion of the bandoneon.
