August 14, 20214 yr Hello everyone, here is a new piece I wrote. It doesn't have a huge emphasis on melody or any kind of functional harmony, and it's also fairly repetitive. I like it very much, but would appreciate your feedback. Many thanks.
August 14, 20214 yr it sounds pretty blocky to me, not enough change. there are certain moments where your intuition could take over and take advantage of certain situations but this doesn't seem to hit the "sweet spot" for me like it could. Im glad you have the courage to write and put your stuff out there. Keep trying
August 15, 20214 yr I agree with Left Unexplained, I don't think there's enough change. Especially since the harmony just stays on the this D5 the entire time, the left hand just plays D and A over and over again
