i wish to play the oboe!!=)

Graham, Clarinet usually sounds good, well, as a normal clarinet, even the cheap ones, wash the reed with toothbrush and soap, if it's in a very bad state, get a new one, not too thin, Rico No.2 1/2 don't put a lot of pressure on the embouchure, is not a saxophone, check if all keys closes and opens correctly, that should be enough to make any clarinet sound .... as a clarinet :D (if problem remains, throw it away)

a lot of people want to play oboe.

just go to the duck pond. you'll learn a lot.

(I don't believe that actually but it's a little funny :P)

SYS: I think we have my great grand-father's clarinet in the back somewhere

I would love to learn piano, at least to a much greater degree than being able to play chord progressions and the beginning of the Moonlight sonata, which almost anyone who's familiar with the piano can play.

The carillon, I've wanted to play it since I was a kid... or at least a teenager... ;)

I'd love to be able to play classical guitar :) it just looks very difficult!

Cello... A few years ago I had to choose between spending all my money on a cello or spending it all on samples... I chose samples and it was the right decision, but I still want a cello. I'd also love to learn clarinet or bassoon.

A more appropriate rebuttal to this question should read: "What instrument do you wish you could play WELL?" Ha. I wish I could play jazz piano well (I play, but not well by answer stretch of the imagination). Likewise with some good lead guitar. Hotness.

I'd love to play the Harp... it looks really hard to learn, but also looks so fun. Learning to play the Violin would be awesome as well.. all be it painful to learn for the first couple of years or so.

I wonder..... in Piano one can/could play without seeing the keys but, in harp ? without seeing the colors ? :pinch: better to always carry this:
