Hands
I seriously want to pick up a string instrument. Cello or violin, probably. I've already got the necessary muscles and a base level of left-hand dexterity from piano. I just need an instrument and lessons. Both of which are expensive. Shite. The strings inhabit a higher level of sonority and beauty, in my opinion. In orchestra rehearsals, I have heard the overtones meld to create a 'voice'. You can hear it singing 'ahhhhh'. Incredible. Just to be part of that.
Guest Anders
I recently ordered a cello.....:D EDIT: Make that a cello AND a violin!!!
Guest CreationArtist
I wish I could learn how to play the harp without actually learning how to play. I'm too lazy and actually embarassed as well to leave a store carrying a harp, and also to practice. Why won't a harp just appear and I just know how to play.. people should just be born with the ability to play the harp like Andreas Vollenweider. Just to be part of that. Verry right. But please be careful with the cello - they got the design wrong. Don't try to stick it under your chin, it's got a bloody spike on the bottom just to trick people. You can do yourself a mischief. Rest the spike on the floor (with the cello attached, of course). Lies! The cello spike is designed to go straight through your neck. In the old times, they players would be strung up to a wooden support beam and the spike would just nail the player to the board. Lord Sorasen
I'd like to learn piano/other Keyboard. Its just that I haven't had the time. Maybe during Winter Break, though...
Mark
I'd like to learn a wind instrument, i like the flute but it looks bloody uncomfortable to play and my guitar teacher said it screwed his neck. I can play a bit of descant recorder but i jaust have a crappy plastic one at the moment, might get a decent wooden one if i carry on. I also really like tenor recorders but they're much more expensive:angry: Mark
Will Kirk
I don't really have an instrument that I wish I could play. Cause all the instruments I've ever wanted to play, I do already :P
Keerakh Kal
Pan flutes. All the one's I've found were rediculously expensive, so I'll just stick with using a synth version. ~Kal
David Guinness
I have no voice, since I destroyed my larnyx the first year playing cello... :P I would love to play French horn. I think it's one of the most sonorous brass instruments, assuming I could get more out of it than a few squawks.
Alex
Tuba. Definitely tuba. Violin, viola, and cello come next.

Hands
Tuba. Definitely tuba. Violin, viola, and cello come next. You're weird. I wish I was super rich. Then I'd have a cello, a violin, a viola, a harpsichord, a clavichord, a hurdy-gurdy, a virginal, a lute, a celesta, an ondes martenot, a theremin, all of the woodwinds, a gong, a consort of krumhorns, a personal gamelan orchestra, two jugongs, a giant basilica with a forty-billion rank organ, a personal carillon, and a property thoroughly seeded with earth drums. For now, I'll set my wishes on cello, and my mad keyboard skilz.
Leon
I play piano and am completely focused on it, but two of my FAVORITE instruments are french horn and cello... I just LOVE the sound of a cello... And there are so many beautiful horn passages in pieces... I love stuff with horns in 'em. We heard Mahler's Sixth Symphony awhile ago and it had 9 horns sittin' in the back row. o.o; Cellos rock though... If I took a string instrument I would totally try cello. Violins are cool, but I just love how deep a cello is.
robinjessome
I wish I could play drums....like freakin' Art Blakey.
William K.
Bassoon. Definately. For some reason I just have this fixation on playing the bassoon. My parents hate the sound and they always give me wierd looks when I'm listening to Mozart and saying stuff like, "See mom? There's the bassoon part! Isn't it awesome??" lol. So yes, bassoon would be my first choice and then oboe. If you go one step beyond that, then horn.

Don't diss the end pin! :P If I were to play any instrument it would be the guitar. I can already sing, play the violin/viola, and play the piano. Every average joe seems to know how to play the guitar. I want to learn it so bad. It's so simple yet so beautiful. :D
penguinsbyc
I'm gonna have to go oboe. Maybe its just my savage desire to be unique, but i like the noises coming out of any double reed. I just tend to like higher instruments(Piccolo Tumpet >Trumpet, Trombone > Tuba) so i guess thats why i perfer the oboe over everything else. However I'm a true-blue brass player, and any reed, let alone a double one, is impossible for me to play.:) Oh well, It shall remain, but a dream... Morivou
I play the piano currently... however, my next choice would be the cello and guitar.
