January 4, 200620 yr I'm 20. Gosh I'm old  Going to be graduating college next year though; I'm psyched! (See kids, that's one of the great things about being old.. no more school, or at least only part time)
January 10, 200620 yr 14 here, but I'll be 15 on Feb. 19th. I'm young, but I don't really consider myself a composer... yet. ;)
February 3, 200620 yr holy crap, now I feel fricking old! That's not a great feeling. I'm 22. It didn't even OCCUR to me to try composing until I turned 18 or 19, tried it once for a music theory class (with a pencil on staff paper I found in the basement), and then sort of didn't try it again until I got Sibelius 1 as a gift when I was about 20. Still haven't really totally gotten the hang of everything yet, but I'm working on it.

I'm 22, started composing when I was 19 (I'd written down a few doodles as early as 15 or so, and didn't try again until the summer after my sophomore year in college), though not for any kind of class. I'm still working on my third and fourth pieces, 3 1/2 years later, and I still have yet to take a music class in my life other than music history. What's your day job (or major if you're still in college)?
February 8, 200620 yr I started composing midi and game music when I was...about 11 so that's like 6 years experience before high college I suppose.I just turned 17 like a month ago.
February 9, 200620 yr Iam 22. I only got into to music because of my desire to compose... I bought a cheap guitar when I was 10 and my parents wanted me to go to a school but I refused because I thought that if someone thaught me I wouldn't be able to "be me"....oh well, kids  At the age of 13 I finally got my hands on some stuff about music theory and after some months I began to apply it to the guitar and taught myself how to play it... Since then I've been always playing, composing, producing and doing stuff related to music. Its been a fun journey but the best of all is that you know that it will never end until you die so there's still a lot to learn and most of all, learn about you and what you are
