Ah yes, Chris here has a dental issue... I feel for him - I know how it is. (Though my case was probably much less severe than his)

What's so hard about saving a midi file?

This looks like a popular competition.:) I hope we get lots of cool entries.:) Do we get to listen to all of them after the judges have decided, or just the winners? (Do we post in a thread or are they submitted privately?)

I've already got quite a bit for mine. Fastest I've worked for a while.;)

O.k., then I'm not in. ;)

If you have Finale with GPO then you can save your piece as a WAV, which can then be converted to MP3 with the aid of any one of a number of programs out there.

If you have Finale without GPO, you won't be able to save as an audio file (I believe), however the playback would sound distinctly MIDI-ish anyway. So saving a MIDI file would be perfectly acceptable.

Think about it. :)

That's not the problem. I only have Notepad.:)

Violinfiddler uses notepad, if I recall correctly. EDIT: Damn, things move fast!

Violin, you could just send the score to me when you finish and i'd produce a pdf and a midi for you.

Seems my original post was deleted

I would like to join the comp either way, but I need to know: I have so far two movements of a duet complete and I plan to write two more. Can I use it or will I have to start a new piece? Please let me know.
