A piece for encouraging myself to be brave and strong

Most harmonies and melodies are a sudden inspiration triggered by different emotional memories. I don't know how I feel about this new piece but I hope you all can get something from it.

A new piece composed for string orchestra
-
As a religious person myself, I encountered different spiritual warfare everyday and one day I tried to create the warfare with music. I ended up writing a string orchestra piece with some interesting harmonies and repetitive melodic shape. I think I'm starting to discover my kind of harmony which is great, hope you all enjoy this 🙂

Thank you for your lovely comment :) What do you suggest to make it less repetitive but has a recognisable melody/harmony ?

Just finished the first movement of my new project. The first movement is introduced by an 8-bar section (slow), follow by an exciting syncopated section. The development involves elements from both sections and goes to a soothing C major slow section, which is interrupted by the syncopated section inspired coda. Please enjoy 🙂

An Agnus Dei in Eb minor. The skill required for the solo soprano is really high as there are sustained high notes and chromatic melodic lines, main harmony is suggested by the string orchestra. Hope you all enjoy this piece 🙂

Finally I have a chance to compose something for a bigger sized orchestra and piano solo. This is my first time composing music for such big varieties of instruments. This piece describes a person's life, ups and downs. With the use of a special chord in Schoenberg's Verklarte Nacht.. Please have a listen and enjoy 🙂 Song of Life.mp3

Hi guys, I am writing a experimental piece for string orchestra. Mostly with sustained notes filled with different harmony, aiming to create a human soul-touching atmosphere. If anyone wants to add in anything or any idea, please reply me if you want a collab :))

I finally finished my new composition by the end of my summer holiday. The music is based on a few Japanese forest paintings I found online, I used some unusual harmonies and melodies which may remind you of some Japanese style music (plus some chromatic harmonies). Please have a listen

sorry if i sound rude. But what i mean is a unison miserere to me sounds more like a group saying give us mercy Lord is more convincing. (and it also sounds good)
-
thanks for the great advice. But to me, the miserere was intented to be that choppy, not imitation.
