I agree, 100% with that. More Oboe would definitely add depth. In fact, I don't think you can ever have enough oboe. Good work though, you should be proud. :happy:

We actually used to have a "composer of the month" but having a featured composition on the home page is a great idea. It think it would be good motivation for members. Now all we need is a home page :toothygrin:

Here's another upload error: the wiki won't let me upload new files. It tells me "The upload directory (public) is not writable by the webserver." Meh.

This thread is primarily in the forum to draw notice and it'll be moved to the wiki thread upon completion of this little project. For now, it's an announcement. I intend to write a small serious of wiki tutorials over the next few days. Below are the topics I intend to touch on. They will be posted to the wiki but I'll add links here as I make them. I'm not saying these will all be independent pages.... but this is what I'll cover. This is pretty much your chance to learn everything you could ever need about making a basic article. Justin, thanks for your enthusiasm in trying to make the site as good as possible! It's always nice to see someone who cares that much about their community :happy: Weird! I'm also using Chrome but I don't have this problem. I also don't haven't encountered it on FF but I'll keep trying to recreate what happened to you. Also, I used to have a browser that refused to keep me logged in to YC after we updated to the network no matter what I did. In the end, it was a browser issue and not the forum :happy: Noted! EDIT: Also, the home button/logo points only points at the forum when you are on the forum. This is definitely a site issue. I tried the test site on multiple browsers and ran into the same thing you did. Elgg out of the box doesn't have this issue either. It will have to be passed on to the developers. There is always that nifty function of allowing the user to select different skins. Making them is not the issue... that can always be done later. That being said, the brown is a nostalgia thing and since the majority of the older users are gone there's very little point in sticking with it. (I do like it though... :happy:) What irks me, as someone who splits her screen in half, is the fact that it doesn't scale at all horizontally and it doesn't offer me the option to scroll left or right. It scales horribly. This also sucks

Haha. Quite the epic undertaking. I actually liked it quite a bit. It gets a little repetitive at times but I can feel the stages of the hurricane as it goes through them. Good job there. I wish I had more to say than that but I think everything's already been covered. Either way.... :thumbsup:
