Anyone want their music in my game?

Featured Replies

Ok I am making a video game. Just started so not that far yet. But the game will need music. I am wondering if anyone wants there music in the game. It has to be background music so no voices.

Will you give money? :whistling:

Could you just give a short description of what the game is like, and if the music should be humorous, scary or dramatic?

With all due respect and everything and don't mean no insult. If I may ask, the game will be a freeware?

I think so by the looks of it.

I was thinking of some care free type music for the menu and beginning. Then some adventurous music. And some epic kind of music towards the end.

What ever you guys will let me use I will look at and see if it fits my game.

Yes it will be freeware. I try to make quality games but I dont think they are anywhere good enough to sell.

Lovely! Good luck with your game. :)

Do you have any links to a website or anything where we might find out more about your game - and perhaps play a demo?

i have the same question

I post more screenshots and a demo soon. I havent got to work on the game for almost a week (less spare time than usual and using my spare time to work on my website). I want to improve it some before posting a demo.

So i see you have a winter level or whatever, i just wrote a piece called winter, check it out see if you want to use it. Its not video game music but it could work.

get back to me.

I look forward to it ;)

I already have an idea of how my "carefree" and "adventurous" pieces would sound, but would you mind telling me what you mean by "epic," perhaps giving some kind of similarity?

Thanks!

I just want you to know. I have not quit on that game. I have only had two days where I could work on it and I couldent then because for some reason thing that need direct x would not work. I have just (yesterday) figured out that my friend updated my video card's drivers. So I rolled them back to the older ones.

So I have made almost no improvements. But I am working on it.

I am sorry but I cannot describe what I want. If I could then I probably would be able to compose it myself.

Ok guys I havent been on in a while and you probably never thought you would see me again, but I am back. I did roll back my drivers but it dident work. I did not know where the CD was. I eventually found the right driver on the internet (It was about January 1st or 2nd. I Just had to play my new games I got and they needed direct x).

The reason I dident post here is because I did want to just post excuses. But I am posting now because I have gotten to work on the game a bunch more.

Attached is a list of changes in 2008. (Ohh and by the way HAPPY NEW YEAR :D)

I will try and get a demo uploaded by tomorrow.

One more thing. Here is new screenshot.

Changes from 2.8-2.9.txt

I look forward to this demo :w00t:

And so do I!

well here it is.

Use the arrow keys to move (also use the mouse)

I highly recommend you use the custom music feature while playing. This just makes it a lot more fun. (especially listening to bee gees )

The game should run fast, but if it does not then go to options and disable the snow. The snow is a Processor hog. (if it still runs slow see the Troubleshooting Guide)

I am looking for graphics, sound effect, ideas, bug reports, and music.

Note this is the private alpha version. This means the engine is not complete, there will most likely be bugs (though i think I got basicly all of them). There may be changes in the game play, story line ect, and I have not started making the levels. (This demo includes 3 test levels. The key WILL NOT be how the levels ends in the final game).

mirror 1 (about 5 mbs)

That was fun, for those three levels, I feel it could get tiring after much more than that though. I also disagreed with your lack of apostrophes in the intro. Clicky: How to use Apostrophes - free guidance notes

;)

It shouldent be as tiring when I add all the obstacles and enemies. (there will be more). I would love some ideas for this. Ohh and don't worry, I am already planned on redoing the into.
