Is it really THAT surprising that someone can dislike most Mozart? I mean, really now...

Now "rock music", "pop music", and "most jazz", that's really something brow-raising.

Anyway, for me it's almost every composer before Beethoven; too square for me...except I guess for a couple of things by Bach & Handel. And Nelhybel's "Symphonic Movement," but not just because I had to play it once.

I'm more of a Mahler - Stravinsky - John Adams type.

Most Mozart doesn't do it for me, but the few things that do (his Requiem for example) make him more than worthy of defending in my opinion. :)

I'm not a huge fan of VW either, my school music teacher raves about him, but then he refuses to accept that Stravinsky is music, so he can't be taken seriously.

I haven't really been listening to classical music a lot lately. But classical isn't the only musical genre nor is it the archetypal genre. It's one of the earliest, yes. But anyway...

Pop music. Rap music. Most modern rock. I like jazz but some of it just has no end. Etc. Very few specifics. Oh..Snow Patrol, Maroon 5 etc I don't get how they're so popular...
