There were two rooms

Two rooms that seemed the same

And I had to choose which room I was willing to enter

The ghost appeared

The walls turned into black

And they were red

I had to choose

Which room I was willing to enter.

Like my brother (Arthur Reglay, by the way, is my little brother), I have a weakness for literature.

I'm Ephraim, I'm 17 years old and I'm a former composer of the Paraíso Music School. I'm studying so I can take on the Costa Rica National Orchestra.

What I have for you is more comments and less partitures. My brother is the Digitalized Composer. I compose for real insturments. I hate how they sound on the computer.

So, show me how you good composers really are!

Welcome to the forums, Ephraim! A little word of warning: The Cridersville kids may be charming, -but don't get fooled by their outward appearance! They will EAT you if they feel the least bit threatened. :shifty:

I didn't understand that.

Oh... thanks, Letehn. I really appreciate that..., I tell you.

I'm not THAT bad am I!? I don't feel threatened by the way. I'm just an innocent "kid".

So welcome Ephraim Reglay.

Hello. I'm new here too. Looks like a great site. I look forward to posting.

Nice to meet ya too Evangelyn, and Shanna, and Nathaniel! :)

The truth shall set you free.

Veritas, is that Platon or Socrates?

hello im new here just thought it like to introduce myself :P

my names alex and although im not a classical composer i have been getting strongly into music production in the dance genre of happy/UK hardcore

i am extreamly focused on my music and i am very keen on improving my composition technique. As well as my knowledge of music theory as a whole

any way thank you for reading this and i hope you'll make me welcome here even though my musical tastes are slightly different :D

Jesus.

Hi my name is Beeri Moalem

I used to post at the old YC about 5 or 6 years ago. I was in high school and I had my own devoted but disillusioned ideas about music. I was an idiot, or as some people used to say a f***head...

wait... I think I already introduced myself here... some memory seems to be coming back... but I don't feel like searching for it

Anyways...

I am a music teacher by day and a violinst / violist / lover by night. I also compose.

And I just bought a Prius. Here's a picture of me, kissing its donkey.

That phrase sounds more like Platon (because I'm in philosophy classes), but I remember Jesus said that too.

Now we have another Christian. Welcome Veritas!

Hi, I am the worst new composer to come on this website (but I'm getting better)

Well any way my name is William and I started playing guitar last year, I practiced as much as 6 hours a day and I am now a solid and profiecient player (if being able play some of Leyenda (Albeniz) after only a year of playing is called profiency) I take most of my musical influence from Paganini, and though I am not a virtuoso (yet) I still write fairly difficult music for guitar. I currently play Classical guitar, Violin, Banjo, Bass guitar, and Mandolin.

Thanks

"Paganini was the best violinist in the history of the world, I would deduce, but his compositions are really not that great."

Blasphemy!!!!!

Here Here Meta! (that means I agree)

Although I can agree his two great compositions were the 24th caprice and the 9th caprice. I still love him, no matter what the Blasphemer Nico may Say!

I LOVE caprice no.4, the beggining at least.

the 24th caprice is greatness, fun to play on classical guitar too!

the only problem is I can't find the sheet music for the entire piece, I only have like the first page. which is all I know

There is a different from playing it and playing it well. If it is fun, you're playing it wrong.

haha, I can't enjoy playing a piece I have worked on for years?

Believe me, I play it well.

Well never mind you don't have to believe me, I don't really care.

I put ALOT of effort into learning the piece, that off the wall comment just kind of irritated me.

Whoohoo!

(Hey when you select your text with the little laughing smiley, his eyes get all screwed up lol!)

So music should be serious? Dude you need to listen to Victor Borge, he might change your mind

Jesus.

No, filthy Apostles or w/e. (but I won't expand on this since it's not the FFA)
