Mozart.

Tchaikovsky - Mahler.

It's a tie for me. Bach and John cage. They're way to different to compare

Hello,

I would put Bach and Handel at the top of my list while slightly preferring Bach.

I think Beethoven will always be my favorite... but I've been listening to Ravel A LOT lately... so good. As for modern day composers, Joe Hisaishi and Michael Giacchino are just phenomenal.

Bach, Beethoven, Liszt, Stravinsky, Martinu, Takemitsu.

Jerry Goldsmith

oh... and... Gustav Mahler.

My favorite real-life composers: Tchaikovsky and Stravinsky (I love their ballets!)

My favorite composers from this site (so far :P): Max Castillo, Austenite, Sojar Voglar.

... says the guy least likely to be in anyone's list of favorites.

What even is "real"?

Oh my god definitely Chopin!!!!! I adore his etudes!!!!! THEY ARE SO EXPRESSIVE!!!!!

And Stravinsky. I absolutely love the Fire-bird suite. I listened to the whole thing a few days ago.

The three Ms...

Mozart

Mahler

Messiaen

I could add a fourth M - Mendelssohn.

I'm also fond of some Tchaikovsky and most of the killer Bs (Bach, Beethoven, Berlioz, Brahms, Bruckner, Bartok, Britten - and the Beatles).

My favorite has to be Gustav Holst for his Planet Suite. They are highly romantic while in 20th century.

This is a difficult question, but I will have to go will Bairstow.

It would be a new composer, resulting from the mixture of Bach and Ravel!

Oh, it just has to be Mozart..
