Short Opening Brass Music

Featured Replies

This is probably the most bizarre thing you've posted...
I can't tell if this is in F lydian or C major. It seems to revolve around C but it ends on an F.
Your parts aren't lined up correctly, especially a problem with the rhythmic sections, and whenever you have two brass instruments together.
There are these weird miscellaneous sounds in the bass that I don't really see serving a musical purpose but, I'm not sure.
Your pizzicato line in the beginning is really strange and constantly shifts from dissonance to consonance.
I can't tell the atmosphere of this piece... is it regal? Or something else?

A lot of things are just undefinable in this one... to be honest, I'm not sure where this one was going, pretty much at all...

Yes, it has some really strange pints. The beats in the final part ¿? The only think I don't like is what Monarcheon mentioned: that notes in the beginning, under the melody. I think this is not modal, although it moves around C maj scale and ends in F, true. But there are pieces that don't end where they began.

Yeah, I think we're all agreed on this. I can't really make any guess as to what your intentions were. There really doesn't seem to be any kind of rhyme or reason to anything going on in this track.

This was for an intro video. I am working on version 2. I added drums, English horns and more strings.

The 2nd version reminds me of Ravel's Bolero!
