April 27, 20188 yr Interesting and beautiful work. That chord in the upper register like a cluster is an anchor through the piece.
April 27, 20188 yr Author Cheers ; ) - yeah I kept referencing that little spicy dissonant chord, even when the chords changed. Bassline is a sort of anchor as well. I never fully dove into jazz, this was one of the few I properly sat down for. The chords that the rhodes are doing halfway through are super stacked, something I don't normally do in other music. But I love that warm clustered feeling.

It's cool, though I kind of personally think the [4, 9, 10] could have been moved around across the chord changes... in trap music, a lot of composers will have a sound effect they really like litter the piece and sometimes instead of staying cool it becomes one of those "things you can't unhear", and I feel like the way it is now, it kind of rides the line. Cool song though!
April 29, 20187 yr Really interesting composition. It seems to blend multiple genres. I love the arrangement of the drums, as well as the real bass played. Thanks for showing us your piece, Benyamind!
