It sounds great. How long did it take you to compose this?

about a week, I took 5 days to conceive and put notes into Sibelius, 2 days to adjust sound effects in Cubase

Really really well done! I think the way you score your ideas for the ensemble is brilliant, and every instrument has important part. The emotion running throughout is very strong.

My only complaint is that is feels a bit too heavy. Especially for the first few minutes, the constant passion gets a little tiring. I want to stress that the music is great, it's just I feel that the listener - and the players - might get a bit tired.

I find myself always saying this but I would love to see the score. Am I right in saying your inspiration comes from circa 1830-1860?

This sounds awesome!

My only advice is about density.

The piece uses the entire orchestra throughout (apart from a few moments in which the piano goes solo). This is a bit tiring to the ear and makes up for a too homogenized piece. Every instrument has a important part in here, however giving more proeminent roles to individual instruments in specific parts might make for a more fluid piece.

From M.136 everything sounds amazing. Wouldn't change a thing.

Congratulations!
