How did you find Young Composers?

i found it from a friend!

Seriously....I wondered if there was a site for young composers...so I just typed www.youngcomposers.com and boom! There was a website!...I joined the forum shortly after.

No google or anything. lol

I think I did a search for Competitions or something and found it.

Ja... I googled Young Composer Music Competition. (I'm so wonderfully unique! :D)

Honest dumb luck through a search engine. ;)

Well I actually found this from another forum, kinda funny when I come to think of it.

This forum's link was one a members siggy, so for being the curios asian bastard that I am, I clicked...

Found it a while back on google, thought "nah", then recently I started composing again so I thought, "may as well join up".

Then I realised my error, but by then it was too late.

Now I'm trapped in a twighlight zone from which there is no escape.

I googled 'forums for young composers' just about a week ago. Weird this site came up, huh?

I found YC on Yahoo search engine when I was looking for "composer forum".

so i typed in dvorak and it came up somewhere on here

I was searching all over the internet for a music composition forum, when I couldn't find any.

I finally stumbled onto here when I googled, "Music Composition Forums".

Google.. when I was looking for a place to submit music for critique and help.

I went to Google, and entered the "Young Composers"

I was trying to write a fugue. I yahooed "writing fugues" and got recursion's fugue challenge thread. This was about a month or so ago.

There was a referral linf from the site to my site in my log reports...although I can't see where my site was referenced in this site.

I remembered where people were discussing it earlier: in the shoutbox! and chat. That's probably why you couldn't find it.

I forget. It might have been an accident. I'm not quite sure.

At random. I found a link to it today while surfing the IMDb forums.

Google, by accident, searching for a completely unrelated thing.

I typed: www.youngcomposers.com. I guessed, there must be deffinitely something with this name!

I was actually looking for something exactly like this geared for composers (not specifically young) ...

I stumbled upon it.
