  1. This is kind of a piece I had written before knowing much about theory, but knew enough about composition and form to formulate a coherent piece. It didn't help me get into Oberlin so I'd love to hear why from you!
  2. I'm with Luis for most of what I thought. Some of the left hand inversions maybe could have been spaced out a little more to avoid it sounding murky, but this was pretty rare. Overall, nice work
  3. Very nice, intense, and beatiful. The lento part is amazing, also the last one. Well, in fact the whole piece.
  4. Hi In several parts it sounds like an harp (or its equivalent in eastern music). I like your work in the highest notes. Sometimes it sounds "chinese", other times not so much. I think it colud depend on using the pentatonic scale or not. Anyway, interesting. i always like alternative harmonies.
